Every site needs an advertising prologue, dont they? Well to make sure the reader of the advertisment wants to join, I have made a contest. What you do is type a prologue about the wolves, put anything down. If you have no idea what to say, put some characters in the prologue or some setting, a problem and solution, how the wolves came to this area, etc. Just make it interesting. Keep these things in mind, 1. No swearing in the prologue or bad language. 2. Do not use someone else's character in the prologue without their permission. 3. Do not make your character seem like the hero, and that they are the ones who found the territory or something like that. 4. It was about a hundred years ago when the wolves found this area and started thriving. 5. Make your prologue grabs the reader, and makes them want them to join the site. Now if you win, we will keep your prologue for the advertisment, and you will get credit, maybe we'll put your name in the corner saying "Made by whoever" or something. Anyhow, just start typing, I'll give you awhile, dont worry, theres no deadline so far. Oh and before I forget, this is what the banner will look like. Thank you so much to a certain person (I forgot their name) who made it on blue and leaf. ***Everyone can participate!****

~Hmmm. Interesting, I love a good creative writing contest! I'm going to make mine a short series!~
Chapter One The First Territory
Once many, many moons ago, there were four packs of wolves. They had plenty of prey, lots of land, and huge Pack Border issues. Everytime one pack came upon another, there would be a fight. The Four Packs fought over everything! One day, the two packs on the East and the two packs on the West bonded together against the other side.
Chapter Two The East Against the West
When the Four Packs bonded to the Two Packs, a war began. The war raged on, until there weren't enough wolves on either side to continue. After the wolves realized this however, it was too late. All the East cubs had been caught in the war and killed, because the West side had driven the East into their own camps. The West side cubs were alive, but their mothers had fought in the war and been killed too, the cubs were as good as dead.
Chapter Three The Calm After the War
The Two Packs once again became the Four Packs as they mourned their fallen comrades. They then started snarling and growling blame at one another, when one pup's mournful cry silenced everything. "Mother!" cried a pup from the West side. All the leaders stopped. "Father!" He cried again. Then they all began to realize that this small pup had no one, and it was all of their faults. An East side mother pushed through the crowd, and began to lick the lonely cub. " I lost my pups too, I know how you feel." she murmured softly, and began to howl, a sad, long cry to the moon. A cry for mercy.
Chapter Four Uncovering All The Damage
But as some wolves howled and cried for the ones lost, others started to look around at their territory. There was no longer any prey, all the battle cries had scared it away. The land was scarred, with no plants, it looked as lifeless as their packmates, lieing stiffly, frozen in the moment life left them. It was obvious the land was no longer able to support them, even though there weren't many left. They had to find new territory, before any more wolves died.
Chapter Five The Hopeful Pack's Journey Once it was all agreed they had to find new territory, the Four Packs became something they had never been before, the Only Pack. All the leaders became one powerful being, and they called this new pack, the Hopeful Pack. They walked far and long, but no land seemed to suit the needs of the pack. One night, as the leaders watched the sunset as they always did, they heard a voice, "Follow the Sunrise, never the Sunset." the voice said. "Did you hear that?" they asked each other. They all answered "Yes." What they didn't say was, the voice had sounded like the wolf most special to each of them that had died in the war. From then on, they vowed never to watch the Sunset, but the Sunrise, and take their pack to follow it.
Chapter Six The New Territory
After five more days of traveling, the Hopeful Pack found a possible new territory. They all looked at the land and decided that the land was good. But what about prey? They all thought. The Hopeful Pack set out hunting and came back with plenty of prey. The next day, they deemed this their new territory.
Chapter Seven A New Life Slowly the Pack began to repopulate, and they peacefully parted into the Four Packs again. This time, they vowed, would be different than the last.
THE END

[ripped is up to bat, so watch out.] The moon rises over the mountains. You are alone. You know that this area is heavily populated with wolves. You aren't worried. You are, after all, one of them. But, these are rumoured to be extremely powerful. You don't care. You are just passing through. Four wolves surround you. A strong, beautiful she wolf. A large, muscular Alpha male, with an amber pelt. Another male, this time small, and with a with black flecks on his gray pelt. The final is a small she wolf with a cloud like pelt, and soft brown eyes. "Join us." they howl together. You are a little bewildered. "Join me!" calls the large male "You will run with all the power of Lightning! Together, we will rule!" The beautiful, black she wolf snarls, cutting him off. "No. Follow me, Moon. He gives false promises. I will show you the light." The smaller male howls "The Rain is what gives this land life. Join me. We shall keep the territory alive!" The small she wolf waits until the howling has died down before speaking. "I do not have much to offer. Just land, and an open territory." she says quietly. "Choose by the next full moon, or leave the territory." they all growl. They are gone.
It has been over one hundred years since the first wolves. There are now four packs, named after each of the four founders. Moonpack, Lightningpack, Rainpack, and Cloudpack. They are still at war, but have rules now. A code. Now, like the loner centuries before, it is your turn to choose... Which is your Pack?
